A phospholipid is a molecule in a dilemma. It has a head group that is attracted to water but its tails cannot mix with anything aqueous. Its a terrible situation to be in, really...I often find myself torn like that: I am a humanist at heart but in the words of the Twin Peaks character Benjamin Horne "Sometimes the urge to do evil is almost overpowering".

waiting for an experiment to finish
I am waiting very patiently for A.'s experiment to finish so that we can finally go home and have some lovely seafood rice. When is it misery ever going to finish? Have I mentioned how much I hate science? I do hate it...
